arin innovation has been selected to implement Oracle JD Edwards in IMQ Group, for the various businesses and more than 30 companies owned by the group or majority owned by it, in their financials and logistics processes. This project is in collaboration with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
IMQ is the insurance healthcare industry leader in Basque Country and IMQ is one of the largest in the state.
The change in corporate management solution has been decided in order to standardize the tools used by different departments and group companies, as well as the streamlining and homogenization of the business models. The group also wanted to achieve a complete integration of processes, centralizing different solutions used by its companies.
After evaluating various options on the market, the three main factors in the decision of implementing Oracle JD Edwards were:
First, the scalability of the solution, with a complete standard and wide functionality that allows to cover the current business needs and, as well as supporting future needs and business processes.
Second, the flexibility of the tool was also decisive because it is an easy to use and very adaptable solution to fit the needs of the different business processes.
Finally, the position of Oracle as a technology leader and the proven efficiency of JD Edwards as a technologically advanced web solution were determinant.
