The Port of Pasajes is one of the 28 Port Authority of state ownership in Spain, ranked 16th in the ranking of total port traffic. In the Basque Country, where there are only two ports of general interest, is in the second place behind Bilbao. It is therefore a port that has an important weight in the economy of Guipuzcoa.
